One year, one whole year folks! Love these two and cannot wait to meet the newest member of the family in a few months! Revisit their wedding day here.

Okay, so they got married in Xenia, but I need to rank up in my Google search folks! Matt is an old college bud, but more so the best friend of my roommate, Ryan Kane. Ryan Kane is the ultimate best man! – He gifted them their wedding photography. I think that is STELLAR, and a real testament to the friendship between them. So glad I got to do this wedding. I had a blast with everyone, and made quite the spectacle of my speaking abilities in front of the gals. Sometimes I get really connected with my subjects and get on a roll when they are actually laughing at my off the cuff humor. But life, it seems, has an even better sense of humor by keeping me in check. It never fails that I will stumble over some words trying to speak to quickly, or saying three thoughts at once, resulting in classic fail phrases such as, “Take a sissy out!” Which apparently means “Sister, take a step out, [please]” Thank you for laughing with me and not at me.

BTW – if you are curious they were married at the Schindler Banquet Center on the Xenia Legacy Center campus in Xenia, Ohio.

I love all types of weddings. Big/small, lavish/quaint, over the top/subtle – because the main ingredients are the same, love and family. Erin and Unmesh are most definitely in love and their families are fantastic! Pam and I had such a great time with you all. And the food – amazing! Not just the presentation either, which was stellar, but the yumminess factor. Take a look at Garnish Catering.

This little girl really likes Luke, so it was a bit difficult for her to watch him dance with Brit.

I have enjoyed talking to them over the last few months, even the late evening phone calls from Teri with questions about scheduling and outfits. And the random birthday bash calls as well. Teri, your voice if always pleasant. You are both so wonderful, and sincere to the core. If you have ever met either of them, you know what I mean. One of the best things about my job is the people I get to meet. If you read my blog often you will notice a theme of how impressed I am with the friends and family with whom my couples surround themselves. Teri and Craig, I sincerely enjoyed getting to know your family and friends.

Liz and Art – their wedding photography is the fabulous result of our chemistry together. I met Liz months and months ago with her sister and mother, and even in our first meeting I could tell we would get along splendidly. Once I met Art, during our engagement session together, I knew we were a great fit. I am always encouraged by the amazing relationships that I get to photograph. Liz and Art have surrounded themselves with a fantastic group of people. Thank you soooo much for letting me be a part of your wedding day and your lives. I FINALLY got him to come shoot a wedding with me, and, folks, it was GOLD. I am stoked that we will be working more together. What this means, for you – potential B&G’s, is the opportunity to have an incredibly skilled photojournalist working alongside me on your wedding day. Cannot think of a better addition to the day than that! Better yet, Nick’s personality rocks. I am very careful about who I let work with me, because I want you to be as comfortable as possible on your wedding day. Well, Nick fits right in. Trust me, you’re gonna love this guy!
