My buddy Aaron came down to Cincinnati for some much needed vacay and we spent most of our time at the ATP Tennis tournament in Mason. If you are from Cinci, you know all about the tourney. Somehow, it draws the biggest names in tennis to the humid area around Cincinnati for part of the US Open Series. Check out http://www.cincytennis.com for details. Thanks to Dr. Scott and Lori True, Aaron’s cousins, for letting us enjoy some great tennis over the last couple of weeks. We got to see Serena and Venus Williams, Roger Federer, Nadal, James Blake, Tsonga – and bunch of others. I missed Roddick, but made up for it with some great photo ops. It is amazing how close you can get to these guys. Not as close as I was during the AVP, see my blog post from last fall. Enjoy!!
Tennis is apparently not as exciting as NASCAR to some – maybe he just needs the engines roaring to stay awake?
Jo-Wilfred Tsonga made headlines by beating Federer in the Roger’s Cup recently. So this side court was pretty packed to watch him in doubles, but these girls were more interested in something else?
